On September 7 at the MESKO S.A. HQ a contract was signed for the supply of PIORUN MANPADS to the Estonian Armed Forces. The ceremony took place in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence Mariusz Błaszczak and Minister of National Defence of Estonia Hanno PEVKUR.

 

Under the agreement, MESKO S.A. will supply the Estonian side with 300 missiles and 100 launch mechanisms of the portable anti-aircraft missile system PIORUN. Thus, Estonia will become third foreign user of PIORUN MANPADS.

 

On the Estonian side, the agreement was signed by Magnus – Valdemar SAAR, General Director of the Estonian Defense Investment Center, on the Polish side, the Management Board of MESKO S.A. composed of: President of the Management Board Elżbieta Śreniawska, Member of the Management Board for Development Przemysław Kowalczuk and Member of the Management Board for Production Marcin Ożóg.
