During the gala closing the first day of the Defence24Days conference, Security Eagles were awarded. Awards also went to companies from PGZ, including MESKO S.A.

 

The winners in the "Product Development" category were:

  • Rak self-propelled mortar - Huta Stalowa Wola S.A.
  • Anti-aircraft Missile and Artillery System Pilica+ – PGZ-Pilica Consortium
  • APR 155 Precision Guided Ammunition – MESKO S.A. consortium and CRW Telesystem-Mesko.

 

"Security Eagles" are awarded to people and institutions that have made a substantial contribution to strengthening the defense of Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. The award was received by the President of the Management Board of MESKO S.A. Elżbieta Śreniawska at the Defence24Days 2024 conference gala.

 

– I am extremely pleased with the received distinction and I would like to thank all MESKO employees for their huge contribution to our next joint success. This time, our Company was awarded for its achievements in the field of research and development, the final result of which is a modern and technically advanced at the highest world level APR 155 mm Precision Guided Ammunition. It is thanks to the ideas and comprehensive competences of our engineers, technologists and designers that we can create innovative solutions to strengthen the security not only of Poland, but also of Europe and successfully compete in international arms markets - emphasizes the President of the Management Board of MESKO S.A. Elżbieta Śreniawska.

 

The Company also received the "Safety Eagle" award in 2023 in the Product of the Year category for PIORUN MANPADS.
