In the years 2000-2002, the creation of further limited liability companies began on the basis of the assets of the companies: MESKO-ROL (production of agricultural machinery), MESKO-SERVICES (construction services, management of redundant real estate) and MESKO-NET (providing telecommunications services).
During this period, the Company changed its name several times. Due to Company’s accession to the Association of Manufacturers of Precision Equipment in 1975, the Company's name was changed to PREDOM-MESKO Metal Works.
The maximum employment period was in the 1950s and 1960s, where nearly 22 thousand people worked in the factory and a 5-fold increase in production was achieved. Employees commute from towns located up to 100 km away from the factory. The company is renamed “United Metal Products Plant No. 2 in Skarżysko”.
Until September 1939 PFA was one of the leading factories in metal sector in Poland, called by foreign industrialists the “Polish economic miracle” of that time.
The choice of today’s Skarżysko-Kamienna as the location of the munitions factory was determined by the city’s location in the so-called safety triangle and the route of the railway line.
